Three robot heads to laser cut!
The big one can hold your pens; the small head is a key-ring; and the middle one is with existential problems.
Details:
-general:
Designed for 3mm in MDF.
All files are in R12 ASCII Drawing (dxf).
-measures:
Amount of necessary material. Also, just in case you can’t import the project with the correct measurements, each head is inserted in a frame witch you can resize to:
Big head frame: w- 300 mm / h- 250 mm
Med head frame: w- 220 mm / h- 130 mm
Min head frame: w- 100 mm / h- 100 mm
-kerf:
Each file (head) has three different blueprints, each one has different kerf compensations:
0 – no kerf compensation;
+0.15 – each fitting is 0.15 mm increased for each side (0.3 total)
+0.2 – each fitting is 0.2 mm increased for each side (0.4 total)
(kerf is the amount of material that is removed by the cutting process, in this case laser-cutting. In order to avoid the use of glue to assemble the puzzle, this kerf is compensated in the file itself. The compensation value is different between laser-cutters and materials used)
Enjoy!
